- Maxwell Jenkins was born on April 30, 2005, to Welsh and Askenazi Jewish parents Jeff Jinkins and Julie Greenberg Jenkins. Jeff, his father, is a former ringling clown, and his parents are the co-founders and directors of Chicago’s Midnight Circus.
